New York’s Chelsea district - Bakhmetevsky Bus Garage ??? Now there
is garage art in Berlin:::
FREE STUDIO SPACE
From August 8 to 30, 2012 Natulis Art Temporary offers nine free studios for
artists in Berlin’s Scharnhorststraße 32. Located in close vicinity of Hamburger
Bahnhof and right behind Invalidenpark. Natulis provides free temporary studio
space to ambitious and energetic artists seeking a community of like-minded
people in a unique and experimental environment.
TERMS
Sizes range from 44 to 55 m2 of raw studio space (old GDR-style garages). The
successful applicant will be able to use the studio space free of charge, but
„as is“. There are no fees for utilities and the garages can be returned in any
state imaginable.
TOPICS
Ephemeral, time sensitive art at tremendous growth rates will be favored. The
buildings will go afterwards- so be creative.
OPEN STUDIOS At the end of August we will host a weekend of open studios
and invite the general public as well as an arts audience of curators and
critics.
PRIZE
The Natulis Group pledges a € 1000 prize for the best studio presentation
during this weekend.

PARTY ARTY
On August 30 Yaneq will issue invites to a major celebratory event with fun
and food, bands and beers, DJs and performances.

Natulis Art Temporary is sponsored by the
Natulis Group and gives free temporary studio space or opportunities to create
site-specific temporary artworks to artists in Berlin. In doing so Natulis is
answering to a call by many artists in the city to provide studio space
(Zwischennutzung) to foster artistic development and bring together like-minded
people in experimental environments.
